Oklahoma State Health Department: If your pet is not current on Rabies and comes in contact with a wild animal (skunk, raccoon, bat, opossum, etc) or bites another human or animal, you are required by law to contact the Oklahoma State Health Department and report the incident. Any person who comes in contact with a rabies positive animal is required to seek post inoculation.

National Poison Control: If your pet gets into anything you may think is poisonous, you may contact the National Poison Control or bring the animal straight to COVE.

Wildcare: Wildcare is a rehabilitation program for injured wildlife. If you find an injured bird, squirrel, etc. you can take them to Wildcare, where they will be nursed back to health and released back into the wild.

Norman Humane Society/Animal Shelter: If you find an animal that does not have identification or if you see that an animal is being mistreated, please contact the Norman Animal Welfare division. You can either take the animal to their location or they can come pick up the animal at no charge.

Second Chance Animal Sanctuary: Second Chance is a no kill animal shelter where you can adopt animals. They help propote animal welfare in Oklahoma.
